Farnam Mare Plus is a pelleted vitamin and mineral supplement for broodmares. It is fed with the mare's regular grain ration during gestation and lactation, and also has a maintenance feeding rate. It adds to the normal diet and does not replace it.

- Follow the label directions. Supplemental selenium intake should not exceed 0.3 ppm on a complete ration basis, so check any other feeds or supplements that contain selenium.

Yes, at a minimum of 0.25 mg per 2 oz serving. Check the selenium in the rest of the ration and stay within the label limit.
