Pure Vitamin C is a feed additive, which can be added to the feed of horses, camels and poultry. It is particularly useful in horses and camels to feed to young stock to stimulate collagen synthesis; and for adult animals as an antioxidant during times of increased exercise and competition, as well as being beneficial when training during periods of high temperatures. In poultry Vitamin C is an important addition to the drinking water during periods of elevated temperature leading to heat stress.
